Please follow the instructions below carefully to ensure proper healing and best results after your laser treatment.
Laser Tattoo Removal Aftercare
Cleansing & Care
- Clean the treated tattoo daily with mild soap and water, then gently pat dry.
- Do not rub, scratch, or pick. Allow any scabbing or crusting to heal naturally.
- If blistering occurs, keep the area moist with Aquaphor and protect with a non-stick pad if needed.
- Apply a thin layer of Aquaphor 2–3 times per day.
- Avoid shaving the tattooed area if scabbing or irritation is present.
Activity & Hygiene
- No swimming, soaking, or hot tubs for at least 48 hours, or until the skin has healed.
- Avoid contact sports or any activity that could injure the treated area.
- Keep the tattoo clean and protected until fully healed.
Sun Protection
- Avoid direct sun exposure on the treated tattoo during the healing period.
- Apply SPF 30+ sunscreen daily once healed enough, reapplying every 2 hours outdoors.
When to Contact Us
- Contact the clinic if you notice signs of infection such as increasing redness, swelling, tenderness, or pus.
Laser Skin Rejuvenation Aftercare
Cleansing & Care
- Gently cleanse the treated skin with mild soap and water, then pat dry.
- Expect mild redness, warmth, or bronzing for a few days, this is normal.
- Apply a gentle moisturiser 2–3 times per day to keep skin hydrated.
- If you have oily or acne-prone skin, wait 24 hours before applying topical products.
- Avoid makeup, exfoliants, or active skincare for at least 24 hours.
Activity & Comfort
- Avoid harsh treatments or facials until the skin has fully settled.
- Cold gel packs may be used to relieve warmth or redness if needed.
- Most people can return to normal activities immediately.
Sun Protection
- Protect the skin from the sun at all times with SPF 30+ daily.
- Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours when outdoors.
